I am a software engineer by title, developer by training. I currently work in Preston, England. I was originally interested in Computer Forensics, and accidently fell into programming, which I have developed a passion for.
I strive to keep up-to-date with the latest technology, and love using the latest tools and techniques, but, I am not afraid to wrap my head around legacy code. I am passionate about Unit Testing, Test Driven Design, and Design Patterns.
I like to spend as much of my spare time with my fianceé as I can. I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy, watching football (especially Liverpool FC), or, working on my own personal coding projects. I also play for a team in a local pool league and play 5-a-side football.
